What is Sunburn?

Sunburn is caused by exposure to radiation from the sun. It is usually a first-degree burn involving the outer layer of the skin. The pain of sunburn is most intense between 6 and 48 hours after exposure to the sun. If the skin becomes blistered and or swollen you should consult your health-care provider for advice.

China-Gel Can Help

Massaging China-Gel into the burn area two to three times a day prior to blistering or peeling will help to provide effective relief. China-Gel stimulates circulation and the body’s endorphin response to pain when massaged properly into the skin. The herbs, seven in all, are reported effective not only in helping to relieve pain, but also to further enhance healing. In particular, Aloe vera and witch hazel are an excellent treatment for sunburn.
